This time around, we're reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Unlike GWTW, I haven't read this one before and I'm really looking forward to it. It's one of those books that's been on my to-read list for awhile but that I just haven't gotten around to reading.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I was so blown away by the SK story, I missed this. I LOVED Their Eyes Were Watching God. It was one of those books that kept popping up on Best Books lists so I thought, okay, fine, I'll read it even though it'll end up being one of those novels I read and say, "huh."
ReplyDeleteProbably read it ten years ago--still think of it. Definitely belonged on the Best Books list. ;-)
