"TO ME,
NORMAL IS THE ABSENCE OF PASSION.
I WANT TO CRAVE AN EMBRACE,
LOSE MYSELF IN THE TASTE OF A
DELICIOUS PIECE OF DARK CHOCOLATE,
FEEL EVERY HAIR ON MY ARM STAND ON END
FROM THE LICK OF A COOL BREEZE.
NORMAL?
NAH, KEEP IT.
I'M TOO BUSY
BEING GRATEFUL AND PASSIONATE
ABOUT THIS LIFE I'M LIVING."
(Kristin Cast)
Busy being grateful and passionate? That's me! Hopefully, it's all of you, too.
For the rest of the month, I'm throwing myself into my NaNo novel. I will come up for air. And turkey. And chocolate. And to remind my husband and the tortoises who I am. But otherwise, I'm pretty much on a blogging break.
I wish you all a wonderful rest of the month and a very happy Thanksgiving! See you in December!
Happy Thanksgiving and good luck with NaNo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex! Have a wonderful holiday!
DeleteGrateful and passionate. Good plan. And glad NaNo is going well for you! I am really struggling--the month has taken it out of me from every directions. Not sure if I even can win at this point. Certainly not if I keep letting distractions seep in.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Hart! Can you cut any of those distractions down even just a little?
DeleteYou do know you've already "won" just by attempting NaNo, right? You've got words/scenes/an outline that you didn't have in the beginning of the month and that's something! :)
Happy Thanksgiving and have fun with your NaNo passion. =D
ReplyDeleteThank you! I will. :)
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your husband and the tortoises too. Have a fantastic holiday and rest of the month!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Julie! Same to you and your crew. :)
DeleteYay! I hope you have the most fabulous Thanksgiving! My blog tour is almost done, and then I'm checking out for family and Turkey. It's just around the next bend... It's amazing how long you can sprint when the end is in sight, eh?
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous holiday as well, Crystal! Keep sprinting! :)
DeleteAlways, right? Final day of NaNo--I imagine there will be a large number of people sprinting today. =)
DeleteGood luck with NaNo, and enjoy that turkey and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna! Yum! :)
DeleteEnjoy your blogging break and all that turkey and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with NaNoWriMo!
I'll still be popping in and out of the blogosphere. Can't get rid of me that easily. :)
DeleteLove that quote!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy writing and Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I love that quote, too. And Happy Thanksgiving to you!
DeleteAwesome quote.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break and your turkey!
Have a great holiday, Elizabeth!
DeleteThat's exactly how I feel! Enjoy the writing. I'm having a blast!
ReplyDeleteYeh for writing and creative blasts! :)
DeleteGo go NaNo words!! I hope you get a lot done (and eaten) on your break. :)
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Although, maybe more words, less food would be better for my waistline? :)
DeleteHappy Writing! I'm NaNoing too. Wishing you lots of words.
ReplyDeleteJuneta @ Writer's Gambit
Wishing you lots of words and good NaNo luck as well! :)
DeleteHave a great break, and good luck with NaNo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shannon!
DeleteI LOVE that quote at the top. Gratitude and passion sound like ideal goals to me. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have tortoises! Cool. Years ago, we bought our daughter a baby African spurred tortoise. When it was little, it had the prettiest lime green eyes, and its shell was ruffled around the edges. She still had the tortoise when she moved out, and it was so big, it needed a whole bedroom for its habitat. She eventually had to donate it to an animal shelter... which already had another tortoise to keep it company.
Anyhow, Happy Thanksgiving. (The only time of year it's okay to tell someone to "Get stuffed!")
They sound like good goals to me, too! :)
DeleteWe are really hoping our tortoises don't get that big. They shouldn't, but Larry does like to eat....
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
Happy Thanksgiving Madeline!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachna!
DeleteYou're nearing the end. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying, Susan, I'm trying.... :o
DeleteGood luck with NaNo. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday yourself, Liza!
DeleteAir, turkey and chocolate. The three essentials of life. Happy Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteThe three essentials at this time of year. Other seasons, I might subtract turkey and add wine. :)
DeleteGood to have variety in one's diet ;)
DeleteI hope NaNo is going well for you. Be sure to eat plenty of chocolate and lots of turkey and stuffing :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is overall - fingers crossed I can pull out the win. I see a lot of turkey and stuffing and chocolate in my future... yum! :)
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you!
Happy Thanksgiving, Madeline! Beat NaNo and enjoy that turkey and chocolate. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you, Chrys!
DeleteI'll do my best.... :)
Happy Thanksgiving and I hope passion fills to you to bursting whenever write. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnna from elements of emaginette
