I was excited to find out that
my story, China Doll, was selected as one of 2013's best stories over at Nailpolish Stories, where all the stories are exactly 25 words and all the titles are polish colors.
I'm hoping 2014 is a good year for writing and stories, too. So far, it's off to a great start!
Congratulations! Only found the doll, huh? Creepy.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it worries me that I can take something innocent like a nail polish color and turn it into…that. But then I go eat chocolate and everything is okay. :)

DeleteThat is awesome. Congratulations. And I love you story. So simple, but creepy when you start thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Those are some of my favorite kinds of stories to read and write - where it might be a little creepy on the surface, but even more creepy when you think about it. :)
DeleteCongratulations on having your story published. I wonder if the plane had been flying into the Bermuda Triangle.
ReplyDeleteYou never know.... :)
