Not only will Joshilyn Jackson's new novel, Someone Else's Love Story, be out in November 2013, BUT she also wrote an e-novella, My Own Miraculous (October 2013) which stars one of the characters from the new novel. It's like the appetizer before the meal, and I am pulling my chair right up to the table! (And, if I wasn't already a huge fan as a writer and a reader, these two posts about how she struggled to write the synopsis for the e-novella - "A Dirty Look Behind the Scenes" and "Why I Call You Best. Why You Are Beloved" - would've made me one for sure.)

I have a feeling Stephen King's Dr. Sleep (September 2013) will keep me awake long into the night....

If you're in the mood for a movie this Fall, check out the trailer for Catching Fire...

But, to be totally honest, I am most looking forward to Season 4 of my favorite TV show, The Walking Dead. Argh, October is so far away!

Are you looking forward to the Fall? Why? Excited about any - or all! - of these books, movies or TV shows?
Thank you, thank you, thank you for telling us about Jackson's new novel. She's one of my favorite writers. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thursday. ☺
Oh, Dana, I'm so glad! My favorite of hers is BACKSEAT SAINTS, but I enjoyed them all. Her blog is a lot of fun, too

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to S.H.I.E.L.D!
ReplyDeleteI actually had to Google that to see what it was. :)
DeleteWalking Dead! Yesss!! Though I'm not ready for summer to be over. The whole thought of snow will help me be patient until the Dead returns.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and her hubby are starting with season one and watching a few each week to help keep the withdrawals.
I hadn't heard of Joshilyn Jackson before. I'll have to check out her books.
The trailer for Season 4 gives me chills! :)
DeleteLots of good stuff coming up! I can't wait for fall, always my favorite time of the year. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also trying to enjoy right now, too. :)
DeleteI was looking forward to the BBC Sherlock in the autumn (okay, US blog, fall...) but I heard it might not be out until after Christmas :-( I have to know how Sherlock survives!!
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about that show. I'll have to check it out. :)
DeleteKing has ANOTHER book coming out?? Wow, he is quite the definition of prolific isn't he? So much good stuff on it's way :)

(From Sarah, with Joy)
I know! I don't know how he does it.
ReplyDeleteI am totally looking forward to seeing Catching Fire in the theater. You know where I'll be on the Friday after Thanksgiving this year!
ReplyDeleteI'll get myself to the theater at some point - I'm not brave enough to face the crowds and go the very first day. :)
DeleteThis last week has felt too much like fall, and I'm not quite ready yet. Ready for the kids to go to school, just not the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteBut fall is one of my favorites Luckily we live in a place with all four distinct seasons. I love that.
I do miss the way the leaves change.....
