It's a Giveaway! IT'S A BOOK (literally-that's the title) Giveaway!
It's no secret that I love books. And I mean I love books. When my husband and I cleaned out our bookshelves at the beginning of this year, I actually cried a little. (I swear I don't know how my husband puts up with me.) I kept telling myself that all of the "going" books would be donated and they would find new homes, etc. It worked. Sort of. (More on that next month...)
So, since this is the month of love, I thought I would give away something I love (no, not my husband or the tortoises!) - a book! And not just any book. It's a book about...books! And reading. And the difference between a book and a blog. And... I better stop before I give it away. Well, actually I am giving away...
...a fresh copy of It's a Book by Lane Smith! Amazon called it: Playful and lighthearted with a subversive twist that is signature Lane Smith, It’s a Book is a delightful manifesto on behalf of print in the digital age. This satisfying, perfectly executed picture book has something to say to readers of all stripes and all ages.
(It is a picture book, but you might want to check out some of the reviews and use your own judgment before giving it to a child. Me? I don't like to share books so I'm keeping my copy, thank you very much. It makes me laugh.)
