Two Blogs Plus Five Reasons Each Equals . . . Way Too Much Math

I'm over at Tyrean Martinson's blog with my post - Five Reasons to Write Flash Fiction - so, in honor of that, I thought I'd try:

FIVE REASONS HERE
WHY YOU SHOULD GO OVER THERE

1) It's fun to travel.

2) A little procrastination before getting down to writing and work isn't going to hurt.

3) The tortoises are busy so nothing worthwhile is getting done around here anyway.

4) My reasons to write flash fiction might inspire you to give it a try.

5) Tyrean is a wonderful blogging buddy, who supports and encourages all of us.

Tyrean's Five Reasons series is so interesting and a lot of fun, and I was thrilled she asked me to be part of it. I hope you enjoy my post, and please go check out the others in the series so far.

LOL! I went over there first, actually, but I had to come pop in. My comments have been disappearing all over the place. Unfortunately. I loved the post!

I'm happy you popped in over here, too! Glad you enjoyed the post. :)

Well you've convinced me, I'm heading over there now. :D

I'm always up for procrastination, and my favorite kind of travel involves not actually leaving the house.

Like Crystal, I've already been over to Tyrean's. It was an excellent post. Five great reasons to try one's hand at flash fiction. :)

Loved this, especially the part about the tortoises. :)

Madeline Mora-Summonte said...

Well, we all know who really runs things around here.... :)

I should have adopted tortoises instead of a bossy cat and rowdy dog. Heading over to your guest post now...

Madeline Mora-Summonte said...

Well, Mrs. L can be pretty bossy, and Larry is often rowdy...but I guess it's still not quite the same. :)

You convinced me. I take a trip over to visit her blog right now.

I took the trip over! I was trying to write a 1500 word story yesterday (which is super short for me), but then I found out the deadline for the contest I'd hoped to enter it in had passed. Boo! I should finish it anyway. There's always another place for stories.

Madeline Mora-Summonte said...

Glad you had a safe trip back! :)

I would definitely finish that story. Even if you end up not subbing it somewhere else, consider it a great creative exercise.

Heading right over!

Flash fiction like poetry takes tons of effort to do it right. I enjoy reading both.
