Motivational Monday

EVERY MORNING WHEN WE WAKE UP,
WE ARE CONFRONTED WITH A CHOICE:
ANOTHER DAY JUST LIKE THE LAST
OR
A CLEAN SLATE TO START ALL OVER.
(Mark Sanborn)

I choose the clean slate.

I choose laughter and love.

I choose good instead of striving for, and failing to reach, the imaginary perfect

I choose to treat myself with kindness and respect instead of berating myself for not being enough

I choose reading instead of cleaning and cooking.

I choose art, creativity, imagination, and passion.

I choose gratitude.

What about you? What will you choose today? Tomorrow? Next week?

  1. I should choose the clean slate, but sometimes I feel like each day is the same as the last. Trying to make some changes to fix that.

  3. Usually when I wake up I want to choose to go back to sleep. ;) But in all seriousness, I like to choose positive and make it a good day.

    1. Hmm, maybe choosing a nap later in the day would be a good idea. :)

  4. I'm doing reading and writing today. Some walking and thinking if it doesn't rain.

    1. I need to choose activity over sitting on the couch way more than I do. Thanks for the reminder!
