Motivational Monday

REST IS NOT IDLENESS,
AND TO LIE SOMETIMES ON THE GRASS
UNDER THE TREES ON A SUMMER'S DAY,
LISTENING TO THE MURMUR OF WATER,
OR WATCHING THE CLOUDS
FLOAT ACROSS THE BLUE SKY,
IS BY NO MEANS WASTE OF TIME.
(Sir John Lubbock)

Ahhh....

Permission to relax?

Granted!

Definitely making progress on the house. On the writing, not as much as I'd like, but there's still the whole summer. :)

    1. I did have a good weekend, although I spent more time doing things like unpacking boxes, etc, than fun stuff but I still managed to enjoy it. :)

  9. Oh yes, I agree. It is so nice just to lay on the grass and look up at the clouds and see yourself touching the funny shapes of cumulus clouds as you let your mind drift wherever it wants to go.

  10. I need to do some relaxing. Nothing wrong with being alone and quiet with your own thoughts...something I don't do enough.

    1. That's a great idea, Stephanie. Taking at least a few minutes every day this summer to enjoy it, to relax, to rest, is something I'm going to aim for.
