T is for . . . TROPHY WIFE

Welcome to The Blogging from A-Z Challenge April 2014! This year, I’m offering up a story – each one 100 words or fewer - for each letter of the alphabet.

Some are heartfelt, poignant, sweet. Others are…not.

I hope you enjoy them.

TROPHY WIFE

Paul wanted younger, prettier. Linda never measured up.

Until now.

He buffed her urn then stepped back, admiring how she looked beside his new TV.

  8. Am I allowed to kick Paul? For wanting a younger and prettier girl.

I am enjoying your stories. After the Challenge is over I am going to try and see if I can write something like this.

  18. I am fairly certain that Linda was glad for him to have a trophy wife. Would she go on the other side of the TV?

  19. That's sad how Paul has lost his identity in translation and following the wicked world full of pretense. Thought provoking:)

  24. Your titles are gold, Madeline. :-)

Which ones are the bad ones? The not so good ones you were talking about? I haven't seen a bad post from you yet on this A to Z.

  25. DA - thanks!

Scribbler - thank you so much! Sometimes I hit on the perfect title myself, but otherwise I turn to my husband - he's really good at that. :)
