SOME PEOPLE FIND FAULT
LIKE THERE'S A REWARD FOR IT.
I think we all know someone like that, don't we?
The trick is to not let them burst our bubble or sour our good mood. I hate to admit it but I let that happen way more than I'd like. It's an awful, awful feeling.
But the older I get, the more I realize I only have so much time here on earth. So I ask myself, "Do I really want to spend any of that time with people who bring me down?" Well, duh.
But it's more than that. The older I get, the more I realize how easily I can become that person if I'm not careful, if I don't watch my thoughts and my words, if I don't surround myself with positive, enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive people.
Let's all try to limit our exposure - as much as possible, anyway - to the fault-finders in our lives. And let's do our best to not become one ourselves.
