"Stranded" is up at One Forty Fiction. It's a Twitter-sized reminder of sorts, a reminder to pay attention, not only to the road itself, but also to those we can no longer see who travel with us just the same.
Nice one, Madeline. In regards to the homeless among us, that's one thing we hear every time we take our 7th graders downtown for a mission trip: with so many busy people ignoring them every day, the homeless begin to feel invisible, and they're often startled when we speak to them.
