I am so excited for "Sea Urchin" to be up in the Spring 2012 issue of Boston Literary Magazine. It's what they call "a Dribble" - it runs exactly 50 words.
Boston Lit is a great magazine and definitely worth a look for all you writers out there. After some excellent feedback and suggestions by Robin Stratton (Editor-in-Chief), they ran my story, "The Hoarder's Wife," (Quick Fiction) in their Summer 2011 issue. They open again to subs in April - so go for it!
Whoah -- great work, Madeline! That last image in the first one, holy cow.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Milo - as always! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats and WOW! Such stunning prose and imagery in so few words. I love it even as it turns my stomach. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jillian!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to have to use this as a blurb somewhere, somehow - "I love it even as it turns my stomach." :)
