"The House Holds Its Breath" is one of those stories that I refused to give up on; I believed in it that much. It won an Honorable Mention in a contest and received lots of great feedback from judges and editors, but yet never made it into publication...until the fine folks at Fiction365 decided they liked it and they wanted it.
If you head on over and read it, I hope you enjoy it and I hope it makes you think - just a little - about how precious every day truly is.
I'll check it out now!
