My Twitter fiction, "Uncle Bo Blames the Girl," is up at OneFortyFiction.com! You can read it here.
It's my second story up at the site. The first was "Absolution" and I so appreciated the comments and feedback from you all and the readers over at One Forty Fiction. If you get a chance, let me know what you think about "Uncle Bo."
LOVE it. Wonderful pithy use of a metaphor!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy! And thanks for using the word "pithy" - it's one of those words I like but I'm not exactly sure why... :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on another story being picked up! Woo-hoo! I left a comment over there for you. Enjoy!
ReplyDelete"Got a spoiled milk mind." Wow. Such a strong voice in only 140 characters or less!
ReplyDeleteStacy - thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteMilo - that image/line came to me awhile back and wouldn't go away. Glad it worked!
Oh -- and congrats on your May Marionette WIN!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Milo - right back at you! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Madeline, such a strong voice. And congrats on the W1S1 May Marionette!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Simon! Nice to see you here. And congratulations to you, too!
ReplyDeleteReally nice voice. And I love that you never say what he blames her for, but the whole thing hints that whatever it is, it's not her fault. No matter what we imagine, there's a big story under there. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on meeting your W1S1 goals!
Thanks so much, Shelley. I think that's what I love about twitter/hint/flash fiction - so much is said in so few words and yet there's even more going on beneath the surface.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you, too! :)
