Wonderful quote! I love it. When I shut my eyes earlier today, it was so I wouldn't see the dentist and his white face mask. :) But it was a good time to think about a story I'm working on and how to make that character just a little uncomfortable to make it more interesting. Sometimes I'm too nice!
That's funny, Stacy! But kudos to you for taking an unpleasant situation and making it work for you. (I actually thought you were going to say you closed your eyes so you didn't have to see all the snow!)
Great quote, and very timely.Last night I was helping my grandson study for a social studies quiz about the history of India. Some of the names were unusual sounding, so I spelled them to him then told him to close his eyes and visualize the words on the paper. It worked!Donna V.http://donnasbookpub.blogspot.com
Hey, Donna - great work with your grandson. I hope he did well on his quiz! :)
Wow, I thought I could answer this quickly but find it more difficult than expected. A month ago I would have answered quickly, the picture has changed and now I'm not sure.
I hear you, Sally. It's seems like such a simple quote and an easy answer and yet it's much more far-reaching than that.
