It's a sentimental favorite. I love the actors who played the kids a lot more, for instance, and thought they were truer to the novel. And Tim Curry as Pennywise? The best. No one would go near the new version--he has no charisma; he's just scary AF. Think they missed the point.

I have written posts with horror movie line-ups, but I haven't seen Creep. I HATE slasher-type movies, which is what a lot of horror flicks end up being these days. Used to be, the so-called "special effects" were so bad and the situations so outlandish, horror flicks were almost funny. The more realistic the movies became, the less I liked them. I may have groaned and shuddered while reading King's books, but I kept on reading. Now, I prefer a good thriller.Susan Flett Swiderskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09425315552148200073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-61035530061941333592019-01-18T09:38:07.206-05:002019-01-18T09:38:07.206-05:00I find suspense can be scary, too! :)I find suspense can be scary, too! :)Madeline Mora-Summontehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05529397293165046430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-80882061818341483102019-01-17T20:02:43.527-05:002019-01-17T20:02:43.527-05:00I hate scary movies. I wasn't scared during the movie because I was so annoyed at my cousin. Thankfully, my friend laughed at the movie and at my cousin and I intervened - spilled popcorn and soda on purpose, anyone?
