It's one of the most beautiful and historically rich places I have been. While I was there, I picked up a copy of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." It's an older book, but being in Savannah made me want to know more about it. Even though it's a fiction work, it's based on true events. Can't wait to start reading it!!Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10508196064060747456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-65525735154345110192011-07-12T20:47:08.962-04:002011-07-12T20:47:08.962-04:00Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary. I am thrilled - for the author and for myself! - when the second one turns out just as good, if not better. (I'm thinking Khaled Hosseini's THE KITE RUNNER and A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS - loved them both!)Madeline Mora-Summontehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05529397293165046430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-6093691589831318802011-07-12T15:21:54.517-04:002011-07-12T15:21:54.517-04:00I'm alway up for a good read. The main character was a woman and I was impressed at how well George wrote in her voice. I liked it enough that I am going for his second novel.Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05758737470750841665noreply@blogger.com
