I wonder if he then would be an "anti hero" type? I love how there are so many ways to go with stories and characters! :)Madeline Mora-Summontehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05529397293165046430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-14077073683114518832012-10-10T12:57:57.218-04:002012-10-10T12:57:57.218-04:00I think my protagonist was a Dark Hero. It's not about the protagonist at all. :)

Elizabeth - I'm glad you enjoyed the posts. His books really speak to me, too. Check out his new one, WRITING 21ST CENTURY FICTION, available next week. Brilliant stuff - one of those books that breaks things down to simple terms, but there's a wealth of understanding behind it. So glad you got to go to the conference and that you got so much out of it.Elizabeth Twisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03133959633383307056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640755272364792151.post-23342127599447765852012-10-10T09:04:47.419-04:002012-10-10T09:04:47.419-04:00I'm kind of drawn towards the dark in protagon...I'm kind of drawn towards the dark in protagonists, for some reason. But not necessarily self-loathing - it can be interesting if they think they are doing good things and everyone else is wrong... Hope I didn't miss the point!
